If you think you’ve got what it takes to play college football at the highest level, well, here’s your opportunity.
The Alabama A&M football team is hosting walk-on tryouts in August.
A mandatory meeting for walk-on candidates will be Monday, Aug. 21, in the Elmore Gym Lecture Hall.
Prospective student-athletes who pass the screening process will be notified Friday, Aug. 25.
All candidates must be cleared to play NCAA Division I football by the NCAA Eligibility Center by Monday, Aug. 21.
To be eligible to try out as a walk-on student-athlete, a student must be a full-time student at Alabama A&M University and be enrolled in at least 12 hours of undergraduate work or nine hours of graduate work.
All student-athletes are required to have primary insurance coverage.
