On Saturday September 14, 2013 the Mercer Bears woke up from hibernation and demolished the Warner University Royals 61-0 at Anderson Field in Macon. While the Bears increased their win streak to 2-0, the Royals in contrast have yet to win one single game. Mercer quarterback John Russ threw 168 yards for three touchdowns in the victory, in total the bears totaled 570 yards on their impressive 7 touchdowns. 
Next weekend the bears will be playing Berry at home at 6:00 pm where hopefully their streak will continue. Let’s go Bears !
