Georgia College Men’s basketball is off to a solid start with a 4-2 record; winnning their last two games against Fort Valley State University (86-41) and Albany State University (77-64). The Bobcats’ next game will be Thursday at 7:30 as they look to get revenge against Clark Atlanta for a game that ended with a thrilling overtime dunk with 0.2 seconds to go. GC is currently winless on the road (0-1) but that will have to change soon if they hope to keep their winning record. This away game will be the start of a long road stretch for the Bobcats as they will have to travel to play eight of their next ten contests. Led by three Bobcats averaging double digits in scoring (Terrell Harris – 16.2, Larrentis Thomas – 16.2, Dwight Anderson 13.3) and Thomas also averaging a double-double (10.7 rebounds), they will look to get a few more wins under their belt before they begin conference play on December 17 (at USC Aiken).
