After a week off, the Georgia State Panthers are back inside the Georgia Dome hosting the Liberty Flames for Homecoming Day 2015. The off week was good for rest and recovery for the team in general, but most of all for Wide Receiver Donovan Harden who appears ready to return to action.Harden has missed the first 3 games of the 2015 season after suffering a broken foot, but was practicing this week and will likely be a game time decision for Coach Trent Miles.
In Harden’s absence, Freshman Penny Hart has stepped forward. Hart’s 7 catches and 110 yards per game averages have him ranked among the top freshmen receivers in the nation. The possible return of Harden brings a smile to the face of GSU quarterback Nick Arbuckle. ” Having Donovan really helps our offense click, ” Says Arbuckle.” Having He and Penny together will be a big help.” Fellow Wide Receiver Robert Davis added,” We were doing well with the people that we had , but having Donovan back adds an extra explosive demension to our offense.”
Georgia State vs Lilberty can be heard on 1340 The Fan 3, with pregame show at 3pm and kickoff at 3:30.
