The inaugural game at Georgia State Stadium, scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 31 vs. Tennessee State, will kick off at 7 p.m. and will be televised on ESPN3, Georgia State and the Sun Belt Conference announced Wednesday.
The season opener is one of two Thursday night games at Georgia State Stadium this season. The Panthers also host Sun Belt Conference foe South Alabama on Thursday, Oct. 26. That game will be nationally televised on ESPNU with a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.

The conference office announced television selections for the first three weeks of the football season and kickoff times for previously selected weekday conference games.
For the fifth consecutive year, every Sun Belt Conference home football game will be televised on an ESPN platform.
