volleyball pic 1The UMES Hawks attempt to keep there MEAC tournament hopes in sight as they travel to play against conference rival Norfolk State tonight at 7 p.m.

While suffering four straight losses, the Hawks continue to march on by remaining optimistic. “We have a lot of heart.” says star player Haley Robinson. ” Over the course of the season we’ve gotten better at hitting and our footwork.”

Although the Hawks record stands at 10-16, a late season hot streak is all that is needed to secure there spot for the tournament.Last month UMES earned a tough win against Norfolk State by scoring the final three points which ended the game 26-24. UMES has three more games until it is the end of the regular season.
