Lady Eagles Look for Win After Keiser Loss

The Reinhardt Lady Eagles Lacrosse team fought hard but took a tough loss against the Lady Seahawks of Keiser University. The Lady Eagles fell short by just two goals with a final score of 14-13. The Reinhardt and Keiser game showcased ranked teams with Keiser entering the game ranked 5th and Reinhardt ranked 7th. Katie Yarish scored the first goal of the game with 26:06 on the clock. The remainder of the first half went back and forth with Reinhardt and Keiser trading goals. In the second half, the game was tied 13-13 for about 10 minutes until Keiser University player Madalyn Huber scored the game winning goal with just 1 second before the buzzer went off. Morgan McGhee was selected as defensive player of the week on Monday the 26th. McGhee has currently picked up 17 ground balls, has caused 4 turnovers, and has tallied 4 goals and 3 assists for the week. The Lady Eagles are currently 2-1 and are looking for a win on Wednesday against Brevard College at 5 pm. The Reinhardt Lady Eagles will host their first conference game against St. Andrews on Friday, March 1st at 1 pm.
