LSU soccer team moved up three spots to No. 11 in the NCAA’s Ratings Percentage Index rankings.
Following their recent finishes against two RPI top-40 teams in Alabama and Mississippi State last week, the Tigers latest ranking adds to their already successful resume for this season.
Behind No. 1 South Carolina and No. 10 Florida, LSU sits as the third highest-ranked team in the Southeastern Conference. Eight of the NCAA’s Top 40 teams are from the SEC. They include No. 16 Tennessee, No. 20 Texas A&M, No. 23 Ole Miss and No. 38 Auburn.
While LSU has documented an impressive season, the Tigers still have some tough competition ahead of them. The Tigers still have games left against No. 4 Central Florida, at home against Texas A&M and on the road against Auburn on Ole Miss.
LSU returns to action on Friday as the Tigers travel to Lexington to face the Kentucky Wildcats in a match scheduled to kick off at 6:30 p.m. CT.
