Three wins down, #2 in the AP poll, and we’re feeling pretty dang good so far. The dawgs are heating up for what I believe to be a phenomenal football season. Our Georgia boys are taking off.
A 45-0 win against Austin Peay in our season opener, an SEC Showdown ending with a 41-17 victory over the ranked South Carolina Gamecocks, and most recently a 49-7 win against Middle Tennessee State back home in Sanford stadium.
A few key players to take a look at in our past 3 games:
Mecole Hardman: 3rd year WR with already 12 receptions, 187 receiving yards, and 3 touchdowns
Elijah Holyfield: 3rd year RB with 200 rushing yards and a whopping 9.1 yards per carry
Rodrigo Blankenship: 3rd year PK who is 3/3 on FGA’s his longest being 45 yards, 27 total points, and 100% on touchbacks (In Rod We Trust)
Deandre Baker: 4th year DB with 6 total solo tackles and 2 interceptions
J.R. Reed: 3rd year DB with 7 total solo tackles and 1 interception
The Dawgs are facing their second SEC team, the Missouri Tigers, tomorrow at 12 pm in Memorial Stadium. The Tigers have a 3-0 record as of now and normally put up a pretty good fight when it comes to UGA. W’ell find out tomorrow if Georgia can continue down a path of victory.
