Season Record: 8-10 (4-6 AAC)

At the halfway point of the season, the Lady Eagles are currently 7th in the Appalachian Athletic Conference with a record of 4-6 on the season in conference play and 8-10 on the regular season. Starting the season out strong with two huge wins against Point University and Milligan College, Reinhardt has fallen in six of its eight last conference games since then.
In their previous matchup between conference foe and top runner Union, the Lady Eagles fell 3-0. During the match, Reinhardt could not seem to get a rhythm going and could not stop the attack from the Bulldogs side of the net. Despite the lost, some good things did come out of the match. Senior setter Sam Croce picked up her fourth consecutive double-double, picking up a match high 19 assist while leading the team with 10 digs. Also, for the second match in a row senior outside-hitter Katelyn Wienbarg lead the team with 7 kills.
As they begin the second round of their AAC conference play, the Lady Eagles will look to turn their season around and make a jump in standings before heading into their conference tournament at the end of the season.

Conference
The Lady Eagles participate in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC). The AAC consists of 11 schools including RU. Last year, Coach Kandt led the Lady Eagles to a 10-5 regular season conference record and a fifth-place finish. Despite finishing third in last year’s conference tournament (the best finish in program history) and returning 11 players, Reinhardt was picked to finish fifth in the AAC this season.
