Can the Kentucky Wildcats end the football season on a high note?
The Wildcats have struggled in the latter part of the football season, losing 5 straight games. Kentucky’s lost to Tennessee was more than just a blemish on their record. Quarterback Patrick Towles went down with a bad ankle injury. The loss to Tennessee ruined Kentucky’s chance to become bowl eligible. Towels tried to come back into the football game but was unable to play, eventually ending in the Wildcats suffering a heart breaking lost to Tennessee 50 – 16.
All season long the Wildcats have looked to star recruit Boom Williams, who leads Kentucky’s team in yards rushing. Williams and Towels will be key factors for their upcoming game against Louisville. Towels chances of returning for this big game are uncertain, and that causes the Wildcats chances of pulling off an upset seem to dwindle.
Kentucky will play at Louisville next Saturday. The question on everyone mind is will this be a repeat of last years game against Louisville or will the Cats come out victorious. Kentucky’s football team has improved significantly since last year, but is it enough to take down the nationally ranked 24th Louisville Cardinals.
The Wildcats play against the Louisville Cardinals on the 29th of November at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.
