The Golden Rams (5-1, 2-0 SIAC) racked up 429 yards of offense to defeat the Edward Waters University Tigers (2-4) for Homecoming at the Albany State University Coliseum. ASU quarterback Dionte Bonneau exploded for 283 yards passing, going 14-23 with three touchdowns.
Stephan Pierre, the reigning SIAC Defensive Player of the Week, continued to dominate today collecting 13 tackles including one tackle-for-loss. Brandarious Rawlings collected seven tackles while Coemba Jones had five.
For the Tigers, Devin Bailes gained 54 yards on the ground while De’Shaun Hughes collected 40. EWU quarterback Cedquan Smith went 14-26 for 104 yards passing.
Andrew Powers led the Tigers defense with 10 tackles while Drey Powell added seven.
