ATLANTA, Ga. – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced the All-Conference Awards which included two Clark Atlanta student-athletes, Marissa Mandeldove and Lauren Turner.
Mandeldove, junior guard from Atlanta, Ga., averaged 16.8 points per game while shooting 41.2 percent from the floor, 31.3 percent from behind the arc, and 73.1 percent from the free throw line. Mandeldove had the three-highest single game scoring outputs of the season along with the two-highest single game assists averaging 4.5 assists per game.
Turner, junior forward from Atlanta, Ga., averaged 12.5 points per game while shooting 45.6 percent from the floor, 28.6 percent from behind the arc, and 62.5 percent from the free throw line. Turner had the two-highest single game rebounds averaging 8.2 rebounds per game.
Clark Atlanta will debut at the SIAC Basketball Championship Tournament on Tuesday, Feb. 28 against Lane College at 5:30 p.m.
