OXFORD- The Ole Miss Women’s Golf Team will be hosting their 2014 College Am followed by the Rebel Intercollegiate April 3-6 at the Ole Miss Golf Course.
The College-Am event is open to the public and will give fans and golfers the opportunity to play with Rebel golfers in the scramble event. Teams will be four-man scramble groups plus one Ole Miss golfer.
The cost is $125 for a hole sponsorship, or $150 to play in the event. The $150 fee gets you a full day at the Ole Miss Golf Course in Oxford including playing with an Ole Miss golfer, lunch at the course and a few other things. You can purchase sponsor package and play in a group for $700.
April 4 begins the Rebel Intercollegiate where Ole Miss welcomes 17 other schools to Oxford for the tournament. Previous winners Coastal Carolina and Tennessee will be represented in the 18 team field.
The full Rebel Intercollegiate field includes Augusta State, Coastal Carolina, Colorado State, East Tennessee State, Furman, Harvard, Kennesaw State, Kentucky, Murray State, Memphis, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Samford, South Florida, Southern Miss, Tennessee, Texas State and Tulane.
Fans are encouraged to come out throughout the Rebel Intercollegiate and College-Am to support the Rebels. According to Head Coach Michelle Drinkard it’s easy as getting in your car, driving to the course and parking. She gave me that answer earlier this week during a radio interview.
