Both ECU football and soccer begin conference play this week.
ECU women’s soccer is coming off of a high after tying UVA, which was the first tine in program history that women’s soccer tied a top 5 ranked team,
Senior soccer player Rachel Renfrow says heading into conference the team needs to remember what they did well in that game when everything started to click in order to be successful. She said the team really had each others back in that game.
“If you have never had a struggle in your life than you better get ready” says Pirate football coach Scottie Montgomery. The 0-3 Pirate football team is ready to start fresh with what to them is a clean slate headed into conference.
The ECU women’s soccer team will host USF this Thursday at 7, and football will travel to UCONN where they will battle the Huskies Sunday at 12 noon.
