Since their loss to Point University, the Reinhardt Lady Eagles have been on a six game winning streak and have claimed their spot at second in the Appalachian Athletic Conference with only one loss.
As they headed into conference play, the Lady Eagles picked the perfect time to go on a win streak. The Reinhardt Women’s soccer team has won all four of their conference games since they lost their first conference match up to Point University back in September. The Lady Eagles took their talents on the road where they faced Bluefield College, Bryan College, Truett-McConnell College, and Tennessee Wesleyan College.
In the Bluefield match up the Lady Eagles won by a score of 5-2. During the game four different Reinhardt players would score, with two of the goals coming from sophomore Megan McCall. In a tough battle with Bryan College four days later, the Lady Eagles’ Katie Goodrich was able to net the only goal of the contest, as Reinhardt would defeat Bryan 1-0. In the third and fourth road games of the stretch, Reinhardt would once again be successful in both games defeating both Truett-McConnell and Tennessee Wesleyan by a score of 3-1 and 4-2, respectively.
The Lady Eagles will look to extend their win streak to 7 as they take on the Grizzles of Georgia Gwinnett College on October 14, 2015 out at Georgia Gwinnett. The match is set to begin at 7:00 pm.
