Results: 2nd place at Scots Opener, 1st at Reinhardt Cross Country Invitational, 3rd at Saucony Invitational.

Head Coach: Jordan Turner

Jordan Turner is in his 4th year as the head coach of the men’s Reinhardt cross country team. The team has only competed in three races so far this year and has had a strong showing in all three races. The Eagles have been running for three straight weeks.

This past Saturday the men’s cross country team took 3rd place out of ten teams at the Saucony Invitational at Unicoi State park in Helen,GA. Sophomore Roger Herrera finished in sixth place overall over the 8K course with a time of 30:07,missing a top four finish by just six seconds. Junior Alex Gracia was in eight place overall with a time of 30:38. Two other Eagles finished in the top-20. Freshmen Nick Zvirbulis finished in 17th place with a time of 31:29. Another freshmen Justin PrikleĀ  finished 19th on the day with a time of 31:53. Reinhardt’s final scorer was junior Alex York with a time of 32:18 and settled for 24th place.

The Eagles will take a week off before heading to the North Georgia College Invitational in Oakwood GA, Seotember 27. The start of the race is set for 9:00 am Saturday morning.
