The 2019 Reinhardt University men’s lacrosse team is coming off back- to- back NAIA championships with a combined record of 33-2 over the past two seasons. The 2 losses came in games vs. SCAD, Savannah, Ga and Lourdes College in Ohio. The Eagles showed a display of dominance in the last 2 years and expectations are only higher for the upcoming year.
The 2019 season for the Eagles will be a little different as they are replacing 2 defensive starters from last year’s team (2018). Reinhardt returns 6 starters on offense which will be a big boost in terms of chemistry and overall play. One key returning starter is Reinhardt’s 1st All-American Connor Mills who will look to tab honors again in his senior year. A key addition to the 2019 team include Kyle Banks a sophomore midfielder from Dallas, Ga.
The Eagles will be tested early as they will face off against the University of the Cumberland’s (Ky) on February 19th at 7:30 p.m., a rematch of AAC championship from last year where Reinhardt pulled through with a 7-5 victory.
