Clark Atlanta will look to finish some unfinished business during the 2025 season, entering the year projected to finish second out of 13 teams competing for the SIAC title.

The Panthers posted a 7-3-1 overall record (6-2 SIAC) in 2024 and made their first appearance in the SIAC Championship Game since the 1990s. The second place preseason projection is the highest in projected finish in program history.

Three Panthers were named to the 2025 SIAC Preseason Honors list: offensive lineman Denzell Moore, junior defensive end Kurtis Waye, and senior wide receiver/punt returner Ronnie West.
Moore was a key contributor on an offensive line that helped Clark Atlanta lead the league in passing last season. He started all 11 games and helped protect SIAC Player of the Year quarterback David Wright III.

On the defensive side, Waye played a pivotal role for the Panthers, recording 34 total tackles, including nine tackles for loss.
West, a veteran wideout and Atlanta native, was a major part of CAU’s aerial attack in 2024. He finished the season with 26 receptions for 380 yards and two touchdowns.

    Predicted Order of Finish

    1. Albany State
    2. Clark Atlanta
    3. Tuskegee
    4. Miles
    5. Fort Valley State
    6. Savannah State
    7. Benedict
    8. Edward Waters
    9. Allen
    10. Kentucky State
    11. Morehouse
    12. Lane
    13. Central State

Clark Atlanta is set to kick off the 2025 slate in the inaugural Week Zero Labor Day Classic against GSC powerhouse Valdosta State at the historic Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama on Saturday, August 30, 2025 .
