The Clark Atlanta University Lady Panthers softball team will host the Jamaican International Amateur Mighty Teasers softball team in a three-game series this week at the CAU softball field.
The series will begin Thursday, April 17th, with a double-header at 3:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m., and a single game on Friday, April 18th, with the first pitch at 12:00 p.m. Admission to all CAU softball games is FREE.
“We are looking forward to hosting and competing against the Mighty Teasers for the first time in this international series,” said CAU Head Softball Coach Lawanda Pearson. “It is our expectation that this type of exposure will not only be good for the women’s softball program, but it would also be an excellent recruitment tool for the university.”
In 2006, CAU competed in a softball tournament held in Kingston, Jamaica.
