The Reinhardt Eagles Wrestling team has made tremendous strides as a team and individually this year. Only three years in the making, the Eagles have emerged as a contender on the national stage. The Eagles have wrapped up the regular season with a 12-2 record, with victories over #2 ranked Life University and #5 ranked University of the Cumberlands. Reinhardt’s only two losses came to NCAA Division I NC State and Division II UNC Pembroke. The Eagles are heading into conference with momentum, as they look to bring another conference title back for the team, along with numerous conference champions. Last year in the AAC conference tournament, the Eagles won with a score 131.5 points. They outscored the 2nd place team by 66 points. Koby Milner (125), Kalvin Harris (141), Dawson Hunt (149), Antonio Robinson (157), Michael Carew (174), Antonio Stewart (184), and Brandon Reibly (197), all won conference in their weight classed in the 2018 AAC tournament.
The Reinhardt Eagles will be traveling to Truett McConnell on Saturday, February 16th, to wrestle in the 2019 edition of the AAC wrestling tournament. The Eagles line-up for the tournament will be Koby Milner (125), Jordan Pitt (133), Curtis Doctor (141), Jody McCalister (149), Justin George (157), Cole Tennety (165), Michael Carew (174), Antonio Stewart (184), Jacob Henderson (197), and Hinton Bollinger (285). Koby Milner, Michael Carew, and Antonio Stewart are looking to repeat as AAC conference champions in the weight classes.
