The Kennesaw State Department of Athletics announced on Monday (Oct. 26) that its remaining two home games are sellouts. The Owls host Big South Conference opponents Monmouth (Oct. 31) and Charleston Southern (Nov. 7) to close out their home slate.
With the most recent announced sellouts, Kennesaw State has sold out all six of its home games during its inaugural season.
“What a great accomplishment and testimonial to our students, fans, community and administrative support to sell out every one of our home games,” head coach Brian Bohannon said. “We want to thank everyone who has supported us this year both at home and on the road. I can’t tell you how big a deal it is and how much our kids feed off the energy in the stadium. Having every seat at Fifth Third Bank Stadium packed has made a huge impact on our football team and will continue to be important for us as work to ‘Protect the Nest'”.
The Owls return to Fifth Third Bank Stadium on Saturday with a 5-2 overall record and 1-1 mark in Big South Conference play. Saturday’s contest is designated as Military Appreciation Day and the home finale versus Charleston Southern will be Senior Day. Both games begin at 1 p.m.
