The Kennesaw State Department of Athletics has announced free admission to the
KSU soccer team’s first round match in the 2013 Atlantic Sun Conference
Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 2, with the No. 3 seed Owls hosting No. 6 seed
Lipscomb. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. (ET) at Fifth Third Bank
Stadium.
The winner of Saturday’s match will earn a trip to the
tournament semifinals, hosted by No. 1 seed Florida Gulf Coast in Fort Myers,
Fla., and will face No. 2 seed Jacksonville on Friday, Nov. 8.
Kennesaw
State wrapped the regular season with an overall record of 8-8-1 and a third
place showing in the A-Sun with a 5-3-1 mark. The Owls notched a 2-1 win over
Lipscomb (6-7-5, 3-3-3) earlier this season in the teams’ only regular season
meeting on Sept. 27 at Fifth Third Bank Stadium on goals from freshman
forward Shannon Driscoll and junior
midfielder Nicole Calder.
