Benedict coach James Woody is optimistic about the Tigers’ chances when they meet the Bulldogs Saturday in the Palmetto Capital City Classic in Charlie W. Johnson Stadium at 5 p.m. in the season opener for both teams.The Tigers will have a big challenge against the Bulldogs, who were the MEAC champions a year ago and advanced to the Division I Football Championship Subdivision playoffs.
