Former Southern Miss basketball player Daveon Boardingham signed a contract with the Plymouth Raiders in the British Basketball League.
Last year, the forward averaged nearly 11 points points and five rebounds per game, helping the Golden Eagles achieve a 29-7 record, a Conference USA regular season title and their second straight berth in the NIT Quarterfinals.
The Newark, N.J. native also finished sixth in Conference USA in field goal percentage, shooting almost 58 percent from the floor, led the Golden Eagles in scoring eight times and six times in rebounding, scored in double figures 19 times and finished 12th in blocks.
Boardingham finished his career at Southern Miss, averaging 9.5 points and nearly five rebounds, fourth in Southern Miss history in field goal percentage and 11th in blocks, while recording 81.
He joins the Plymouth Raiders, a team who finished 14-19 overall and ninth-place in the BBL in the 2013-14 season.
